alright, I kno we just had a discussion about which would be better, the Remz or the Sagonas, but I saw that you guys got new shipments of USDs in. Im diggin on the new all white Evo 09s. Do you think that those would be a better option for me, seeing as how they cost $55 less than the Sagonas. I want to stay with the stock flat setup, so I imagine the Evos would be a better choice because the slikmlines that come with it have a much bigger H-block than the Fluids on the Sagonas. I was also thinking of putting the new Trust Catalyst liners in them as well. Your input would be helpful. Thanks.

Yes, the Evos would overall be a better choice, basically just because of the price difference. It's the same exact skate, but with better frames (in my opinion), the same amount of wheels, and better liners (once again in my opinion, i hate neoprene). Trust liners are always a good idea and it seems to be what a lot of people are doing right now, but I wouldn't be so quick to count out those Chicago liners that come in the Evos. It looks like they added some extra padding and thickness to make em more comfortable. Either way, you're getting the same exact boot as the Sagonas except you're not paying as much. And if you can live with the fact that you won't have gold skates, I'd say it's a great choice.

thanks David. Im about to put in the order right now. Thank god, finally getting new skates.
I didnt like the neoprene that much when I tried on the Sagonas, mainly because it took me 15 minutes to get my foot in the skate. Im not counting out the Chicago liners. Im leaving the skates stock. I also have tried on the All stars, which have the Chicago liners. And if you say that they have put more padding in, then I should be good. It will be easy to live without the gold. I could dye them anyway if I wanted, because they are all white. But Im leavin them stock. Gonna skate flat for the first time in ages. I can retire my old TRS. They have given me nothing but trouble for the past year. The cuff bolt fell out, I only have one of the originals left. I even lost one of my replacement bolts once. The buckles are shot. Ive had them come undone while landing tricks before. The velcro on the instep strap in almost completely worn out. The skin is ripping, and I barely fall, idk how there are holes in it. But what ever, cuz Im gonna be skating some USDs.

I think you'll be really happy with that choice. They look good, skate good, feel good, and will definitely be an improvement from your beat up TRS's.

I kno they will be an improvement from my TRS. Those skates have been through a lot with me. I've even bled into them. You can see the stains on the tag in the tongue and a little around the top of the liner. I learned all of the grinds I can do in those skates, even started doing topsides the other day in them. Im gonna keep them as a memory (first pair of aggressive skates). i'll let you know when the Evos get here tomorrow, because as soon as the get here, in redford michigan, Im calling up my friend, and we're going to Riley Skate park. Its a pretty cool park. 2 bowls, one shallow one with a lot of hips, and a big one, that goes down to around 12 feet. Theres some street stuff too. A couple rails, 2 long boxes with square rails built in, and some ledges to grind on at the top of a few ramps. Everything is concrete, so its really smooth. Gonna start breaking them in there, then for my friends birthday on saturday, we're going to Modern for the entire day. So they will get broken in quickly I hope. Dude, I cant wait, because I just have this feeling that Im gonna love these skates.
